Food Unleashed
Limited Spring Availability!During the month of April, you can book the Food Unleashed program to come to your school. Part of the Science Unleashed series, this interactive science show will give your students an opportunity to experience their favorite (and not-so-favorite) foods undergo dramatic changes as they freeze, sizzle and explode during demonstrations that illustrate chemical reactions, properties of matter and electricity.
Please note that this show requires access to an electrical outlet.
Audience: This show is appropriate for elementary and middle school students.
Length: 30 minutes
Cost: $200 for the first show; $150 for each additional show; plus mileage fee ($0.50/mile, roundtrip)

Join Us On A Health Adventure!
Early Childhood Outreach Program for Grades PreK-2
Looking for a fun and memorable way to help your early childhood students understand important health and science concepts? Take them on a Health Adventure in their very own classroom! Our interactive, TEKS-based classes make learning about health and science fun. Explore cycles and changes in the natural world in Down to Earth. Learn about the role that physical fitness and nutrition play in maintaining a healthy heart and body in Healthy Habits. Find out how to develop health promoting routines and good hygiene in Squeaky Clean.
Each Health Adventure Outreach Program includes:
- Four interactive, TEKS-based classes (45 min) led by a Museum educator
- Teacher’s guide with pre and post-visit activities that may be downloaded from our web site
Cost: $400
A minimum of four Health Adventure Outreach programs must be booked at a cost of $400. Additional classes on the same day can be booked for $100 each. A mileage fee may be applicable for schools that are 70 miles or more roundtrip. The classes can be taught back-to-back by one Museum educator, or we will send two Museum educators to teach two classes each concurrently.
