Welcome to The Health Museum’s Scouts program!
We offer a variety of fun health and science-related classes to choose from. During each of our classes, scouts will have a great opportunity to meet other area scouts while expanding their horizons and learning new skills in a hands-on environment. Registration PolicyClasses are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Individual or group registration forms are accepted. A registration form and payment MUST be submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled class date in order to secure your space in the class. Registrations may be made by mailing, faxing or bringing a completed registration form and payment to the Museum. Registration is NOT accepted by telephone or email. Cash payments can only be made in person at the Museum. Once a completed registration form and payment are received, you will receive a confirmation letter by email within five business days. Please print out a copy of your confirmation letter and bring it with you to the class. If a class is full or cannot accommodate the number of registrants, you will be immediately informed by telephone. The Museum reserves the right to cancel classes that do not meet minimum enrollment requirements. No refunds or transfers can be given. Troop leaders and parents attend classes for free! Scouts and their chaperones also receive free admission to the Museum on the day of the class. Additional friends and family members are welcome but must pay regular Museum admission. Private Scout Classes
• Private classes are available (space-permitting) for groups of 10 or more scouts. • Private classes are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. • Customized class requests will be considered when submitted at least 30 days prior to the scheduled class. Customized classes are subject to an additional charge. How do I schedule a private class? 1. Contact the Scouts Office to find out if your preferred dates and times are available. 2. Once the date has been chosen, complete the registration form  and submit the form and full payment to the Scouts Office within five business days to complete your reservation. An email confirmation form will be sent when we receive the form and payment. 3. Willing to open your class to other area scouts? If you would like the option of choosing a date that is convenient for your group but are open to having individuals or smaller scout groups join the class, the $2/scout fee for scheduling a private class will be waived. (Class registration form and payment must be received at least 30 days before the scheduled class date.)
